PURPOSE: To prevent the rotation of a core sample and raise quality of core sampling by supporting an inner tube with an outer tube rod for transmitting press-in force, and transmitting the rotation of an inner tube rod to an outer tube with a planetary gear mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A double tube rod 16 comprises an outer tube rod 22 for transmitting press-in force and an inner tube rod 24 for transmitting rotating force, and a gap is formed between the rod 22 and the rod 24 so as to be capable of rotating the rod 24. A planetary gear mechanism 30 is arranged between the rod 24 and an outer tube 28, and a core pressing piston 32 is installed in the lower part of an inner tube 26. The mechanism 30 is held with a sun gear 34 arranged in the outer periphery at the lower end of the rod 24, a ring gear 36 arranged in the inner periphery of the tube 28, and the rod 22 so as to be capable of rotating, and comprises a planetary gear mating gears 34, 36. The piston 32 comprises a piston head 40 and a piston foot 46 having a sleeve 44 which presses a rubber ring 42 in the shaft direction to adjust the swelling out amount in the outer periphery direction.
