Abstract:
To provide a ground surveying method capable of efficiently determining in terms of safety whether or not the ground is harmful for a building with a specific structure.SOLUTION: A ground surveying method of the present invention is a method to survey a status of the ground from existing data. The method comprises: a preparing step of preparing ground constant data on strength from a surface to a predetermined depth of the ground to be surveyed including a vicinity area, groundwater level data, topographic classification data, and S-wave velocity data; a determining step (step S1) of determining whether or not a ground constant to the specific depth exceeds a strength threshold; a water level determining step (step S2) of determining whether or not a groundwater level exceeds a water level threshold; a liquefaction determination step (step S3) of determining whether or not the ground corresponds to liquefaction topography with potential liquefaction based on the topographic classification data; and an amplification determination step (step S4) of determining whether or not the ground corresponds to an amplification ground with potential occurrence of subsurface ground amplification for a specific structural body through calculating a predominant period of the ground from S-wave data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
