Title:
GROUND WATER INTAKE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005248521
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a ground water intake system taking advantage of a coal mine pit in order to enable the water resource to develop while coping with a sinking mine hazard around the coal mine fallen into disuse, eruption of red water to the ground surface and the moisturized ground surface.

The underground water intake system 4 effectively using the coal mine pit 1 of the coal mine fell into disuse comprises the coal mine pit 1, a pumping device 6 formed in a drift main line 2 communicating with the ground surface and a water collecting tunnel 5 formed in a drift branch line 3 communicating with the drift main line 2 and extending in the ground to efficiently pump ground water 13 around the coal mine pit 1, and the ground water is used as raw water such as water for living use or the like through a water quality treatment device 12 which can process red water. Both the drift branch line 3 and the drift main line 2 are filled with coarse-grained solids 8 to prevent the sinking mine hazard, etc. by making them function as tunnel wall supporting members to ensure safety of the coal mine pit 1.
