Title:
GROUNDING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007280775
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a grounding system in which lightning-damage is made preventable from spreading to various kinds of electric facilities in a specific consumer and the electric facilities of a general consumer of joint power reception without installation of a remote grounding electrode.

In the grounding system in which the electric facilities of the general consumer 20 and the electric facilities 35 of the specific consumer 50 to receive power via a thunder resistant transformer 32 are to be protected from the lightning-damage, in respect to a joint power reception/distribution system in which the general consumer 20 and the specific consumer 50 are enabled to receive from a service drop distribution wire 13 in cooperation with each other, this is provided with a lightning rod 41 installed at a steel tower 42 installed at the premise of the specific consumer 50, a drop wire 42 connected to this lightning rod 41, the thunder resistant transformer 32, the electric facilities 35, an equipotential grounding electrode 43 where the steel tower 40 and the drop wire 42 are commonly grounded, and a deeply embedded independent insulated grounding electrode 39 in which a primary side of the thunder resistant transformer 32 is deeply embedded into the ground via a follow current prevention arrestor 31 to be insulated and grounded. This deeply embedded independent insulated grounding electrode 39 is embedded into the premise of the specific consumer 50.
