A grouping and shock absorbing apparatus for preparing many works 20 to continuously carry the individual works 20 in a carry-in area 17 and carry out the same in the carry-out group state to the intermediate storing and carry-out area 18 comprises a carry-in conveyer 11 for the works 20 and at least first and second parallel endless conveyers 1, 2 which respectively have at least one transport path 11, 21 and are extended substantially parallel to each other. Each endless conveyer 1, 2 has at least one group of plural work loading members 3, 4 for carrying in the works 20 from the carry-in conveyer 11 and conveying the works 20, and the endless conveyers 1, 2 can be controlled independently.
