Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guard lock device for an insertion opening of a lock handle device capable of preventing the insertion opening for a key handle from stuffing a foreign matter such as a stick of chewing gum and a twig therein.
SOLUTION: The guard lock device comprises a plug 8 insertable in the insertion opening 6 for a locking shaft 3 of the lock handle device, a lock unit 9 set in the front section of the plug 8 and a lock member 11 kept in the plug 8 by engagedly mounting it on a rotor 10 of the lock unit 9, and when the rotor 10 is turned to an unlocking position with a key 12, a lock section 13 of the lock member 11 comes in and out of a non-interfering position, the lock section 13 is projected to an interfering position from the plug 8 when the rotor 10 is turned to a locking position after the plug 8 has been inserted into the insertion opening 6, and the guard lock device is engaged with the locking shaft 3 or the inside of a lock holding section 14 formed on a keeper body 2 side.
