Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately and accurately ask for a help when an individual encounters an emergency situation and to gather and preserve circumstantial evidence at the time by using a portable telephone.
SOLUTION: A personal handy phone system(PHS) terminal 1 is provided with an emergency detection part 11 for detecting signals for reporting the occurrence of the emergency situation, an automatic calling part 12 for adding its own telephone number and automatically calling a destination set beforehand by the operation of the emergency detection part 11 and a sound gathering instruction part 14 for instructing a transmitter 13 so as to gather surrounding circumstantial sound. Base stations 21-2n transmit and receive radio signals with the PHS terminal 1, a PHS connector 4 houses the base stations and connects a public switching network 3 and a position information server 5 is connected to the public switching network 3 and updates the registration of the present position information of the PHS terminal 1. A security center device 6 terminates a call from the PHS terminal 1, obtains the present position information of the PHS terminal from the position information server 5 and records the surrounding circumstantial sound.
