Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the installation length of a guide line to a required minimum.
CONSTITUTION: With respect to the guidance controller for moving vehicle which is so constituted that a moving vehicle V provided with a magnetic field detection means and a running control means for guide running is guided and run while keeping the state that intensities of magnetic fields detected by the magnetic field detection means are approximately equal to each other in each of plural running routes which are different by distances from guide lines 3a and 3c provided on the ground and are provided along guide lines 3a and 3c and the vehicle C is turned and run from the end position of each running route to the next adjacent running route, guide lines 3a and 3c are provided so as to have the length approximately equal to the width in a prescribed direction of a guide area, and a running route is formed in the area where distances from guide lines 3a and 3c are equal to each other and intensities of magnetic fields generated by currents supplied to guide lines 3a and 3c are equal or approximately equal to each other.
