CONSTITUTION: On the ground side, a reference light beam emitting means B2 is provided to emit reference beam light A2 for showing plural reference positions provided at prescribed positions in the lengthwise direction of a guide path R1 while changing its emitting direction and when a light beam receiving means S on the side of a mobile object V receives the reference light beam A2 in the state of guiding and controlling the mobile object V so as to move along the guide path R1, the detected information of the distance detecting means for detecting the moving distance of the mobile object V along a prescribed guide path R1 based on the rotating amount of a rotator to be rotated on the ground attending the move of the mobile object V is corrected by the information of the reference positions shown by that reference light beam A2. Based on that distance information, a prescribed action is performed at a prescribed position of the guide path R1.
