Abstract:
To provide a guide device for a circular saw allowing cutting to be securely performed under the presence of a guide function even when there is no work bench on which a work piece is placed.SOLUTION: A guide device 2A for a circular saw comprises: a base member 6 having a guide end 4 to contact a saw blade 34 along one end side in a longitudinal direction; a tape measure 10 telescopically provided with a scale 8 having an engaging nail 8a to be hooked on an end surface 30c of a square timber 30; and a handle 20. The tape measure 10 is received in an end part in an X2 direction of the handle 20 as a center part in a longitudinal direction of the base member 6 is a narrow width holding part 16. Moving the guide device 2A for a circular saw in specific size by hooking the engaging nail 8a on the end surface 30c of the square timber 30 makes the guide end 4 a cut position. In this case, by integrally holding the square timber 30 and the base member 6 with the holding part 16 with a finger passing through from a penetration part 18 of the handle 20, precise cutting is performed by contacting the circular saw 34 along the guide end 4 after placing an electric circular saw 32 on a support surface 26 even without any work bench.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
