To provide a guide device for moving a pipe which can move a main pipe smoothly by the traction of a wire even at a narrow place and use commonly for the piping work of the pipe with a different diameter.

A steel pipe body 1a is placed by four points contact at a symmetrical position on a pair of guide mechanism 21a, 21b consisting of ball bodies 22a, 22b and ball body receivers 23a, 23b. The ball body receivers 23a, 23b are pivoted to support members 25a, 25b by shafts 24a, 24b and swung in an arrow mark direction. In the ball body receivers 23a, 23b, pressing mechanism 26a, 26b, 26c, 26d for pressing the ball bodies 22a, 22b to the steel pipe body 1a are provided in respective vertical side and bottom side and even if the steel pipe body 1a is biased at the moving time, a restoring force is acted to the guide mechanism 21a, 21b and the steel pipe body 1 can be contacted at a normal position. As a interval adjust mechanism 28 is provided on the support members 25a, 25b and the interval can be adjusted properly, this device is used for plural piping works commonly and can move the steel pipe body 1a with a different pipe diameter.
