To provide a guide pin of a top-hinged swinging door, which allows the operator to easily adjust positioning without requiring a skill in a correct and positive manner, and ensures the adjusted position over a long period of time.
According to the structure of the guide pin, a rotary plate 2 consisting of a circular plate 2b and a polygonal plate 2a superposed on a top face of the same, is rotatably fitted in a circular mounting hole formed in a substrate 1 such that at least part of the polygonal plate 2b protrudes from a top face of the substrate 1, and a guide pin main body 3 is erected from a front surface of the rotary plate 2 at a decentered location. Then the substrate 1 is mounted on a floor surface G, and by fitting a rotary tool onto the polygonal plate 2b protruding from the front surface of the substrate 1 to rotate the rotary plate 2, the location of the guide pin main body 3 erected from the substrate 1 can be adjusted.
