To provide a guide rail for an elevator capable of reducing centering of a guide rail and welding work of a rail bracket, also reducing the number of parts and contributing to reduction of a shaft space by providing a guide part of the guide rail at two positions or more.
The guide rail 6 commonly used for a car side and a balance weight side is erected on the shaft 1 and guides a car 2 and a balance weight 3 of the elevator. The guide rail has: a flange part provided on the guide rail and fixed to the rail bracket 8 on the rail side through a rail clip 7; a guide part provided on the guide rail; and a balance weight guide part provided on the guide rail and arranged such that it forms a right angle with a car guide part.
