Title:
GUIDE RAIL REALIGNING METHOD FOR ELEVATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3787042
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail realigning method for an elevator capable of correcting large distortion and bending generated in a guide rail of the elevator installed in a high rise building satisfactorily and realigning of the guide rail smoothly and securely.
SOLUTION: An intermediate beam at the lowermost step 5 is lifted by a hydraulic jack 2, and reinforcing brackets 3, 3A are attached to a guide rail in the lowermost part 9A. After a lower end part of the guide rail 9A in the lowermost part is cut and removed and a jack bolt 8 is provided there, each guide rail of a group of guide rails 9 is lowered down to a predetermined position one by one from below and then is fixed after realigning. Even if large distortion and bending occur in the guide rail by an elevator installed in a high rise building built more than 20 years ago, it is possible to cope with them by cutting and removing the lower end part of the guide rail in the lowermost part 9A by a proper dimension if realigning of the group of guide rails 9 is done in this way.
