Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide according to a walking condition of a person to be guided.
SOLUTION: A guide robot comprises a traveling unit 10 for movement, an input-output unit 11 to input a guide destination, a route generation unit 12 to generate a route to the guide destination input by the input-output unit 11, an environment recognition unit 13 to recognize a peripheral space shape, a guide object detection unit 14 to specify the person to be guided, a walking condition detection unit 15 to detect the walking condition of the person to be guided specified by the guide object detection unit 14, and a control unit 16 including a traveling control unit 160 to perform drive control of the traveling unit 10 so as to travel along the route generated by the route generation unit 12 according to the peripheral space shape recognized by the environment recognition unit 13 and the walking condition detected by the walking condition detection unit 15.
