Title:
GUIDING SENSOR FITTING METHOD FOR AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE OF FOUR-WHEEL INDEPENDENTLY STEERING TYPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09138705
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To stably guide-travel by fitting guide sensors rotatable linked with a steering wheel to a guiding tape fitted to the surface of a traveling floor with the car body at a center.

Guiding guide sensors 1 and 2 are provided for the front and rear sides of the center of the bottom surface of the car body. The guiding guide sensors 1 and 2 are provided for the automated guided vehicle body 4 rotatably with shafts 11 and 14 at centers in order to detect the position of the guiding tape 3 provided for the ground or the floor surface. Then the guiding guide sensors 1 and 2 are linked with wheels 5 to 8 through timing belts 9, 10, 12 and 13 and other synchronizing mechanisms so that the guiding guide sensors 1 and 2 are rotated corresponding to the rotating angle of the wheels 5 to 8 when the wheels 5 to 8 are rotated. Namely the guiding guide sensor 1 is rotated by the same angular degree with the rotating angle of a wheel through the timing belts 9, 10 and the shaft 11 from the wheel 7 and the guiding guide sensor 2 is rotated by the same angular degree with the rotating angle of a wheel through the timing belts 12, 13 and the shaft 14 from the wheel 6.
