To provide a gum-containing thermoplastic resin composition having excellent balanced impact resistance and flowability and the like, particularly suitably a rubber-reinforced styrene-based transparent thermoplastic resin composition.
The gum-containing thermoplastic resin composition includes: 10-95 pts.wt. of a vinyl copolymer (A) which is obtained by copolymerization of a vinyl monomer mixture (a) using a polyfunctional chain transfer agent (d) and has a branch parameter g represented by the formula (1) of 0.8-1.0; and 90-5 pts.wt of a gum-containing graft copolymer (B) obtained by graft copolymerization of a vinyl monomer mixture (c) in the presence of a gum polymer (b). The branch parameter:g=[η]branch/[η]linear (1), wherein [η]branch is an intrinsic viscosity of the vinyl copolymer (A), and [η]linear is an intrinsic viscosity of a linear polymer having the same weight average molecular weight as that of the vinyl copolymer (A).
