To provide a gyro sensor miniaturizable by three pairs of electromagnets, a spherical body and a locus detection device.
This gyro sensor includes: the three pairs of electromagnets 1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 1e, 1f arranged oppositely on each control shaft across an intersection point O of three mutually orthogonal control shafts; the spherical body 2 levitatable by magnetism arranged between the electromagnets; an electromagnet control device controlling the electromagnets so that the spherical body 2 is revolved on one plane; and the locus detection device detecting a locus of the spherical body 2. The locus of revolution of the spherical body 2 is regarded as a virtual disk, and angular velocity is detected from the locus of the spherical body 2.
