To obtain a hair cosmetic satisfying favorable finish feeling such as hair trimming, wiriness and combability after applied, with such effects retained even through continual use thereof over a long period, by including Chrysanthemum Pallasianum extract and a siloxane compound and/or the like.

This hair cosmetic is obtained by including (A) 0.001-1 wt.%, on a dry basis, of Chrysanthemum Pallasianum extract and (B) at least one matter selected from the group consisting of pref. 0.01-25 wt.% of a siloxane compound (e.g. fluoroalkyl-polyoxyalkyl-ene-comodified silicone), pref. 0.01-5 wt.% of a cationic polymer (e.g. cationized cellulose derivative) and pref. 0.001-1 wt.%, on a dry basis, of a peptide derivative (e.g. collagen), and optionally, an anionic surfactant, cationic surfactant, oily ingredient, ultraviolet light absorber, antiseptic, etc.
