Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair iron capable of accurately detecting the temperature of a plate for transmitting heat to hair.SOLUTION: A hair iron 1 includes: a first chassis 10 and a second chassis 30 which are formed each into an almost cuboid shape and are mutually swingable so that one of them comes close to or separates from another; a pair of a first grip part 11 and a second grip part 31 which grip hair to heat it when the first chassis 10 and the second chassis 30 come close to each other. The first grip part 11 includes: a heater plate 12 which transmits heat to hair; a heater 51 which transmits heat to the heater plate 12; and a thermistor 50 for detecting the temperature of the heater plate 12. The thermistor 50 is mounted in a hole made into the heater plate 12.
