PURPOSE: To automatically recover hair by providing a horizontal drum formed with material quality easy to charge, the static electricity generating part brought into contact with the surface of the drum, the apparatus for supplying a material to be treated provided to the peripheral surface of the drum so as to be separated therefrom by a predetermined distance and a discharge apparatus receiving the falling material to be treated.

CONSTITUTION: A horizontal drum 2 made of material quality easy to charge driven in one direction and the static electricity generating member 3 brought into contact with the surface of the drum are provided in a box l. The hair (a) mixed with a material A to be treated supplied from a supply apparatus 11 to fall is bonded to the surface of the charged drum 2. The hair (a) scraped off from the surface of the drum 2 by a scraping plate 17 falls along the surface of the scraping plate 17 to be recovered in a lower recovery part 18. When a large number of parallel annular grooves 19 are provided to the surface of the drum 2 to increase the surface area of the drum 2, charging quantity is increased. By this method, the hair mixed with an article can be recovered and the recovery efficiency thereof can markedly be enhanced.
