Abstract:
An epilatory composition of the adhesive type comprises:
a. from 50 to 90 percent by weight of a rosinous material or hydrocarbon resin;
b. from 0.5 to 20 percent by weight of water; and
c. an emulsifier and/or surfactant. The composition is particularly suitable for heating, prior to application to the skin, in a domestic microwave oven.
