To provide a hair-styling method comprising using a composition resetting, restyling or retrimming the hair without the need of reapplying a relevant product and/or heat to the hair while affording the hair with medium to light holding, along with giving the hair peculiar softness and dry touch.
The styling method for a keratinous material comprises (a) a step of preparing the composition comprising (i) at least one silicone elastomer, (ii) at least one non-aqueous polar solvent, (iii) at least one styling polymer, (iv) optionally, at least one emulsifier, and (v) a cosmetically acceptable co-solvent other than the non-aqueous polar solvent (ii) and (b) a step of applying the above composition onto the keratinous material.
