Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment capable of giving softness and a moisturizing feel to the hair, even when the hair is damaged, and further capable of retaining the softness and the moisturizing feel for a long period.
SOLUTION: This hair treatment contains N-stearoylphytosphingosine, cholesterol, plant squalane, and phytosterol isostearate. The hair treatment preferably contains the N-stearoylphytosphingosine, the cholesterol, the plant squalane, the phytosteryl isostearate in amounts of 0.01-0.5 mass%, 0.1-1 mass%, 0.1-5 mass% and 0.1-5 mass%, respectively. Squalane which is obtained by hydrogenating squalene extracted from an olive oil is preferably used as the plant squalane.
