Abstract:
This dryer, which dries hair etc. by using radiation heat rays, exhausts heat from inside a reflector without reducing the reflection efficiency of the reflector. An inlet flow path (70) is formed only on the rear end part of a reflector (10), and an outlet flow path (71) is formed only on the front end part of the reflector. This allows the reflection area of the reflector to be made larger as compared to a configuration in which a large number of inlet flow paths and outlet flow paths are formed across the entire reflector, and thus enables an improvement in reflection efficiency. Furthermore, the flow path internal pressure of a dry air flow path (52) in a forming region of the outlet flow path of the reflector positioned on the downstream side is set to be less than the flow path internal pressure of the dry air flow path (52) in the forming region of the inlet flow path of the reflector positioned on the upstream side. The foregoing configuration makes it possible to utilize the Venturi effect so as to create a flow of air that goes through the inside of the reflector from the intake flow path and reaches the dry air flow path via the outlet flow path, thereby allowing heat inside the reflector to be efficiently discharged.
