Title:
HALOGENIZED SILVER PHOTOGRAPH PHOTO-SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05173274
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide high sensitivity and low photographic fog even when rapid treatment is effected and to provide sensitivity having excellent development progressing ability and natural stability with the lapse of time by specifying the silver iodide content of a halogenized silver particle in an emulsion layer and the thiocyanate compound content of the emulsion layer.

CONSTITUTION: At least one layer of a halogenized silver emulsion layer is formed on a support. An average of a sliver iodide content of a halogenized sliver particle in an emulsion layer is 1mol% or less. The emulsion layer contains 3.0×10-3 2×10-2mol per one mole silver of a thiocyanate compound. Water soluble salt, such as thiocyanate metallic salt and NH4SCN, is used as the thiocyanate compound. KSCN and NaSCN are preferably used as metallic salt. It is preferable that the thiocyanate compound is added before a desalting process and during chemical sensitization. pBr when the thiocyanate compound is added is preferably 1.8 or more and less than 4.5.
