Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand grinder capable of having a grindstone fed by a necessary amount so as to quantitatively grind a workpiece such as a metal mold.SOLUTION: A hand grinder consists principally of four components which are a spindle 21, a casing 31, a cover 41, and a propulsion ring 51. The spindle 21 is retained rotatably with respect to the casing 31 by using a bearing 15, and also restrained from being displaced in an axial direction with respect to the casing 31. Further, the cover 41 is retained displaceably in the axial direction with respect to the casing 31, and restrained from rotating with respect to the casing 31. The cover 41 is provided with a cylindrical guide 42 which allows a grindstone 11 retained by the spindle 21 to protrude out. Further, the casing 31 is provided with a feed-out male screw 33, and the propulsion ring 51 is provided with a feed-out female screw 53, the spindle 21 being displaced in the axial direction with respect to the cover 41 through rotation of the propulsion ring 51 with both the screws engaged with each other to feed the grindstone 11 out.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
