Abstract:

To easily replace a seal element without a tool, and to heighten the useful life of the seal element by decreasing load to bristles of the seal element.

A hand-held machine tool, especially a concrete grinder, is provided with a motor-driven tool 34 for machining the surface of a work, and a protective hood 40 surrounding the tool 34, and supporting a flexible seal element 42 at the lower edge area 39, and in the machine tool, the protective hood 40 is placed on the surface of the work to be sealed by the seal element. The seal brush 43 type seal element 42 is resiliently held on the protective hood 40 through at least one flexible element 50.
