A hand knitting device made up of a soft board designed to be a board 1, a central needle hole mark 3 into which a central needle is stuck to form the central portion of a knit to be placed thereon, a paper pattern 2 in which peripheral needle hole marks 4 into which peripheral needles are to be stuck to form a pattern or shape of a knit and a transparent overlay 5 on the paper pattern 2 to prevent the paper pattern 2 from moving.
