Abstract:

PURPOSE: To input a hand written picture onto a desired position on the display screen of a host computer by converting the inputted hand written picture into hand written picture data whose picture drawing start position is coordinates designated by the host computer, and transmitting it to the host computer.

CONSTITUTION: The title device is constituted of an input coordinate detecting part 11, an initializing processing part 12, adders 13, 14, a hand written data transmitting part 15, the host computer 16, a display initial position setting part 17, a display start coordinate register 18, a signal inverter 19, a picture drawing start coordinate register 20 and an initialization flag 21. Then, the hand written picture is converted into the hand written picture data whose picture drawing start position is the coordinates designated by the host computer 16, and is transmitted to the host computer 16. Thus, the hand written picture can be inputted onto the position desired to input without changing largely a program which exists hitherto on the host computer 16 and interprets data from a tablet and displays it on the display screen.
