To solve the problem of a heavy strain caused by the need of gripping power for gripping a handle and arm's strength for lifting, in particular the gripping power, for lifting and carrying a bag by gripping the handle by a hand.

The bag body 1 is provided with a handle 2 for gripping and a looped hanging strip 3 put around the back of a hand as shown in Fig.1 ((a), (b)). The hanging strip 3 includes a portion 4, which touches the back of the hand, has flexibility and is made wider so that it does not put strain on the back of the hand of a person. Further the size of the loop of the hanging strip 8 is made bigger than the handle 2.
