To provide a handle of a cleaning tool which achieves cleaning in a wider range with a limited force without bending the waist of a user.
In the handle for the cleaning tool 1 with a cleaning brush 2 mounted on it, the cleaning brush 2 is mounted at its tip part while the tip part of a sub barlike body 6 is so mounted at the position right above the location where the cleaning brush 2 of a main barlike body 4 having a main knob part 3 mounted at a loose end part is mounted as to be made swingable about the axis orthogonal to that of the main barlike body 4. A sub knob 7 is provided at a loose end part of the sub barlike body 6 and furthermore, the sub knob part 7 is provided with an engaging part 34 having a guide space enough to let it be detachably engaged with the main barlike body 4.
