Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change conditions easily when a door is opened by pushing one handle installed to the door or pulling the other handle.
SOLUTION: A pivot shaft is mounted on a back plate fixed onto an escutcheon 1, and lever cores 35 fastened onto handles 39 are attached pivotally to the pivot shaft. A first shaft and a second shaft penetrated through lever plates 19 are urged in the opposite directions, the first shaft is inserted into the first arcuate hole of the back plate and the slots of the lever cores 35, and the second shaft is inserted into the second arcuate hole of the back plate and the slots of the lever cores 35. Driving sections 22 projecting and retracting latches are mounted at the front ends of the lever plates 19, and the latches are not sunk even when one of the handles 39 is pushed and pulled.
