To provide a handle device which allows a manager who performs remote control to recognize not only the state that a door is closed but a handle part is kept pulled up but also the state that the handle part is closed but the door is open.

A handle device includes: a step lever 9 which is operated by a solenoid 10 provided on a handle device body part 3 and engaged and disengaged to/from a latch 8 provided on a lower end of a handle part 4; a lower switch 11 which includes a switch latch 34 provided on the rear part of the step lever 9 and lifted by the latch 8 when an inclined surface 36 and a contact surface 37 are projected downward from the step lever 9, and a lower switch body 33 provided on an upper side of the switch latch 34 and turned on/off by vertical movement of the switch latch 34, and is for transmitting to a control panel that the handle part 4 is closed; and a back surface switch 12 which is abutted to a frame body side when a door 2 is closed and transmits to the control panel that the door 2 is closed.
