Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected high speed reverse moving and preclude occurrence of high speed reversing by hindering unexpected inverting motion of a handle through a simple operation.
SOLUTION: A handle supporting structure of a walk type management machine equipped with a lock mechanism E to fix a steering handle to a cradle 33 in the standard condition, in which the handle is facing back, and in the inverted condition facing ahead is equipped with an inversion restraining mechanism H which is provided separately from the lock mechanism E and hinders the steering handle from reverse movement. The mechanism H includes a swing plate 42 which selects either of a first restraining member 40 and a second restraining member 41, wherein the first 40 hinders the handle from moving from the backward facing position to the ahead facing position and admits movement from the ahead facing position to the backward facing position while the second member 41 hinders the handle from moving from the ahead facing position to the backward facing position and admits movement from the backward facing position to the ahead facing position.
