PURPOSE: To make a training bicycle of a handle oscillation type usable selectively for training of the whole body and training of only the lower half body.

CONSTITUTION: Handlebars 22, 23 are loosely fitted to the right and left of a shaft 21 disposed in the upper part of a handle post 6. The lower part of a saddle is provided with a pair of right and left pedals 15, 16 and one helical gear is fitted to a crank pedal shaft 17 mounted with these pedals 15, 16. A crank lever shaft 18 is fitted to a helical gear 11 which makes a pair with the helical gear and is arranged forward. A crank mechanism 28 is provided on both ends of right and left sides of the crank lever shaft 18. The crank mechanism 28 is energized backward by a tensile coil spring 33. A clutch base 41, a slide clutch 44, a compression coil spring and a locking plate 45 are loosely fitted to the crank lever shaft 18, by which a clutch device 40 is constituted.
