PURPOSE: To facilitate the handling of an extremely brittle product by opening/ closing in parallel with each other by means of an actuator a pair of plate springs that are for holding the brittle matter and are provided with cushion materials, constituting the actuator so as to be moved freely by means of a movement mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: An air chuck 3 connected to a transport portion 5 through a plate 4 is equipped with a pair of plate springs 1a, 1b, and cushion materials 2a, 2b are provided on the lower end opposition surfaces of the respective plate springs 1a, 1b. At the time of compressed formation article 6 transport, the air chuck 3 is operated first in a direction to open the plate springs 1a, 1b, and at the time of the compressed formation article 6 having been provided between the cushion materials 2a, 2b, the plate springs 1a, 1b are closed. At this time, the plate springs 1a, 1b bend, and hold the compressed formation article 6 by means of the reaction of themselves, and impact at a closing time is absorbed by the cushion materials 2a, 2b. The compressed formation article 6 thus held is afterwards carried by the transport portion 5.
