Title:
HANDLOOM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001181943
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a handloom designed to obviate such an operation as to thread a heald through a warp one by one.

This handloom has such a scheme that an approximately rectangular frame 10 is mounted with a heald 11 turnably and in an axially movable manner; by turning the heald 11, a 1st warp group consisting of every other warp set up between a warp 1st seizing part 14 and a warp 2nd seizing part 15 can be pushed up by a projection 11a, and by moving the heald 11 axially and then turning it, the remaining 2nd warp group consisting of every other warp can be pushed up by the projection 11a; in this way, every time the heald 11 is moved and turned, the relative position of the two warp groups is reversed, and during the time, a shed to be threaded with a weft therethrough is created; thus a weaving operation can be done without threading the heald 11 with warps one by one.
