PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect deterioration of a steel cord built-in a handrail of a passenger conveyor at high-SN ratio.SOLUTION: The handrail inspection device 1100 is provided with multiple coil sets in which an oscillation coil (1) and an oscillation coil (2) generating AC magnetic fields in mutually opposite direction and a receiving coil positioned in the center between them or in the vicinity of them are arranged in a row in a longitudinal direction at the bottom surface thereof while shifting in a width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
