Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a handrail, mounting operation of which is facilitated.
CONSTITUTION: A handrail has a corbel 2 with a curved receiving section 21, which has an inside diameter slightly larger than the end-section external shape of a handrail body 1 and in which an upper section is opened 23 in the longitudinal direction, and a mounting section 22, which is formed at one end of the receiving section 21 and to which a mounting hole 24 is bored, a fixing member 3, in which a curved recessed section 31 for interring a receiving section 21 is formed to the lower section of the internal surface having an inside diameter slightly larger than the end-section external shape of the handrail body I, and a clamp 4. The end section of the handrail body 1 is inserted from the opening 23 of the receiving section 21, and placed on the internal surface of the receiving section 21. The fixing member 3 is fitted externally while covering the receiving section 21 and the end section of the handrail body 1 placed on the internal surface of the receiving section 21, and the fixing member 3, the receiving section 21 and the end section of the handrail body 1 are fixed by the clamp 4.
