Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handy printer capable of printing a retrieval result on an own desired writing sheet such as a notebook or the like on a even at any place by retrieving to gradually approach a retrieval result desired to be sought and simply retrieving by anyone. SOLUTION: The retrieving system comprises the steps of judging whether a plurality of data relating to a reading content by a scanner of the handy printer are existed in a memory in the printer or host computer or not (S15 to S19), and displaying the plurality of the data in the case of existence (S21). The system further comprises the steps of selecting any information from the data (S23), printing it as needed (S25, S27), and further retrieving information of a lower order (S29, S41, S43).
