PURPOSE: To shorten an operation time and to make free operator's both hands by incorporating a voice input recognizing circuit in a handy terminal main body to make the data with operator's voice input, and to prevent erroneous operation of the input.

CONSTITUTION: When the operator inputs his voice to a voice input device 2, its signal passes a voice input part 3 and is amplified by an amplifying part 5. The amplified voice is converted from an analog signal to a digital signal by an A/D converting part 6 in a voice input recognizing part 4 and is analyzed by comparison with preliminarily registered voice data in a voice pattern converting part 7. Analyzed data is sent to a processing part consisting of a main control part 8, a ROM 9, a RAM 10, a display device 11, an interface circuit 12, an output device 13, and a mechanical device 14 and is displayed on the display device 11 or is stored in the ROM 10 and is sent to each input/ output device. Thus, error for input is eliminated to shorten the operation time, and the operator frees both his hands.
