To provide a hang glider simulator which enables a trainee to experience the simulated safe pilotage of a hang glider in an actually flying feeling mode.
This hang glider simulator consists of a game chamber 2 and an image display chamber 20 which are separated by a transmission-type screen 21. The game chamber 2 is equipped with four game seats, and each game seat comprises an operating rod 10 consisting of a horizontal rod for grasping and two tilting rods, a tilting step 13 located at the backward position of the game seat, a handrail 11 and a seat cushion 12. When the simulator is set to the operating mode; a trainee puts his feet on the tilting step 13, grasping the horizontal rod, and assumes a forward leaning posture to experience a feeling of gravity. On the wall of the game chamber 2, plural speakers 25 are embedded to create a sound in a sound system. Besides, four air intake ports oriented to each game seat are opened on the upper part of the transmission-type screen. In the image display chamber 20, a projector 22 for projecting a simulated image and a reflective mirror 23 are installed, so that an image is projected through the rear side of the transmission-type screen 21.
