Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately compute hanging load of a hydraulic shovel designed for a crane and to ensure safety even if operating oil leaks from a safety measured valve or hung cargoes are increased/decreased when the movement of an attachment is stopped.
SOLUTION: For a hydraulic shovel designed for a crane, wherein a hanging hook is mounted at the end of an attachment and a HBCV(a hose burst check valve) is provided as a safety measured valve in damaging a hydraulic hose, if the attachment is in a stopped condition for a preset time or more when a boom angle and an arm angle and bottom pressure and rod pressure in a boom cylinder are detected (1, 2) and hanging load and rated load on the attachment is computed from detection values (5), the hanging load in the stopped condition is judged to be increased/decreased (7). If the hanging load in the stopped condition is not increased/decreased, a computed value for the hanging load computed till then is held and new computation is interrupted. On the other hand, if the hanging load in the stopped condition is increased/decreased, the hanging load is newly computed.
