To obtain a hard twist woven fabric having a natural and glossed silk-like feeling much resembling to a natural silk by constituting the warp and/or weft of the hard twist woven fabric of a specific polyester yarn.

This hard twist woven fabric is obtained by constituting at least warp and/or weft of the hard twist woven fabric of a polyester yarn comprising each single filament having mutually and substantially different cross sections of noncircle shapes (having twist coefficient of 10,000-23,400 before a dissolving treatment). The polyester yarn is obtained by performing the dissolving treatment (an alkali dissolving treatment, etc.) of a laminated type multifilament such as the one shown by Japan unexamined patent 63-165554.
