To provide an industrially advantageous decomposing agent capable of effectively decomposing hardly decomposable toxic substances including dioxins, and to provide a method of decomposing such toxic substances.
The hardly decomposable toxic substance decomposing agent comprises an organometallic reducing agent. The method for decomposing hardly decomposable toxic substances comprises exposing the organometallic reducing agent to the toxic substances.
