Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the hardness measurement from being affected or a hardness sensor from being damaged by the pressure and the flow rate a sample line, by maintaining the pressure and blow rate constant, in a hardness leakage detection device of water softening device.
SOLUTION: The device has a treatment water line 2 for passing treatment water taken out of a hard water softening device 1, a sample line 3 that is branched from the treatment water line 2, a hardness sensor 4 for measuring the hardness of sample water and a water passage control valve 5 for controlling the passage of sample water in the middle of the sample line 3, a sample water tank 6 for storing the sample water temporarily at the upstream part of the hardness sensor 4 of the sample line 3, and a water level adjustment valve 7 for maintaining a water level in a tank constant by controlling the passage of water to the sample water tank.
