Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the effective space factor of a coil and to reduce the moment of inertia of a moving body by fixing a coil wound whose cross section passing through an arm shaft is almost a box shape to an arm opposite to a head with respect to the shaft and applying a magnetic field to three sides of the coil whose cross section is almost a box shape. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 31 is fixed to one tip of an arm 32 with respect to a rocking shaft 33. On the other hand, a coil 34 wound in which its cross section passing through the center of the rocking shaft 33 is almost a box shape is fixed to a position opposite to the arm 32 with respect to the rocking shaft 33, that is, a side opposite to the head 31 in diametrical direction. The arm 32 supporting the magnetic head 31 and the coil 34, that is, the entire moving body is weight-balanced so that the gravity center comes to the center of the rocking shaft 33. A magnetic circuit 35 is formed to be almost a box shape at a cross section passing through the center of the rocking shaft 33 so as to apply a magnetic field to three sides of the coil, that is, an upper side 34a, a lower side 34b and an outer side 34c. Thus, the effective space factor of the coil is enhanced, the balance of the moving body is kept and the moment of inertia of the moving body is reduced.
