Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb creases and warps generated in the top corner and make smooth the surface of the top corner by arranging a creasing flange, which extends to respective curled parts of right and left top corners and stretches over the panel face to be involved into the inside of the curled parts.
SOLUTION: In this head restraint panel 10, a curled part 13 (flange) is processed by a press and creasing flanges 15, 15 are stretched to curled parts 14, 14 of the right and left top corners 12, 12 thereof and extended over the panel face 11 and involved in the inside of the curled parts 14. And hence, the creases and warps caused in the corners 12, 12 by the dimensional difference along the face are absorbed by the creasing flange 15 and the surface of the top corners 12, 12 is made smooth. As a result, a finish work usually required after the curling process can be omitted and the seat back frame 30 can be easily fitted and the workability is improved.
