The head slider for inspecting the magnetic disk is provided with: a substrate having an ABS; and a heat generating resistance part formed on an element forming surface of the substrate, generating heat for protruding a part of an end surface on the ABS side of the slider and sensing contact or collision of the part of the protruded end surface of the slider and the protrusions of the surface of the magnetic disk.
